Tom Cruise: Age: Am I a joke to you

The gentlemen free watch full. Charlie Hunnam looks amazing in this movie. The gentlemen free watch movies. Here's something to consider: 57-years old Tom Cruise is three years OLDER than the actor Tom Skerritt was (54) when he played Top Gun school Cdr. Mike Viper Metcaffe in TG1. 😄👍🇺🇸. The Gentlemen Free watch dogs. The gentlemen free watch bands. The Gentlemen Free watch tv. The gentlemen free watch episodes. A good one is when a joke plays in a trailer, followed by a scene where a bunch of characters are laughing. COUGH COUGH EVERY ADAM SANDLER MOVIE COUGH.

First movie looked hilarious. Anyone Tried Driving at 7000RPM after watching this movie. This is quite a cleverly interwoven crime story. Hugh Grant is surprisingly good in the role of a sort of camp narrator, as he tries his hand at blackmail by regaling an unflappable Charlie Hunnam with his interpretation of the goings-on around the attempted sale of an empire of ill-gotten gains by a really under-rated Matthew McConaughey, to an even more sexually ambiguous American billionaire. It's funny, mischievous and slick. Colin Farrell doesn't feature extensively, but when he does, he is cool and entertaining. There is a surfeit of Anglo-Saxon which I felt was a touch necessary - after a while it stops being a laugh and starts irritating. At times the script is witty and well paced, but for most of the film there is too little action and much too much verbiage. A good watch, though.

Guy Ritchie back to doing Guy Ritchie things. Matthew McConaughey brought me here... will follow him anywhere. 1st trailer, language. The Gentlemen Free. This movie is a must see. The gentlemen free watch free.

Hello everyone. Sehenswerter nostalgischer Film. Zweisam einsamen.

Barbara war eine wunderbare Schauspielerin RIP. Delicate and sensible portrait.

After I read the story was about "two sisters each mistakenly believing the other is living out her dreams" I expected a rivalry dynamic causing each sister to try and decieve the other she's doing great. And I was very interested to see this movie. But it turned out to be a black-and-white feminist epic where all men are moronic tyrants and all women - saintly victims supporting each other against the enemy. For better or for worse, real life is much more nuanced and I personally like to decide for myself how I see one situation or another rather than to be fed with sexist perspectives no matter which sex they are coming from! That doesn't mean I don't relate to most of the situations, maybe the most powerful being the one where on a Christmas eve a father says thanks to his daughter for keeping things as usual after the mother has passed away, or basically for taking up her role! I got so furious, I could enter the screen and destroy him on the spot! On the other hand, there is so much ugliness between women too that the perfect sisterly relations portrayed in the movie seem unconvincing to say the least. I know, it's very tiresome to have to decide who the enemy is based on current evidence, but otherwise you risk your freedom every time you decide to trust your prejudice. Because it doesn't matter if you end up in the kitchen with a bunch of children hanging from your apron or performing at the piano if it's not what YOU want.

Hi LadyViolet7 tqsm for sharing this lovely film starred by my favourite German Actress, Barbara Rudnik. Am hopeful for more of Barbara's again for the effort.

Icon: Der Spiegel.

Saw this at TIFF. it is really good. Brasil Mostra a Tua Cara. I am bit fed up with the double standard that some autor-films are spoken about. The characters of the movies are 1-dimensional. Or they are infantile patriarchal men or innocent women in a victim role. I assume that that even in the 50's relationships were a bit more complex. The use of camera and music/sounddesign doesn't reach the level of an average student film. Everything was announced and explained, no subtleties, no room for contemplation. The undoubtedly talented actresses were the only point of light in these films. Unfortunately drowned in a plot that not in any moment is believable. When at the end the granddaughter is played clearly by the same actress as the main character the audience in the cinema where I was started to laugh. Couldn't more painfully indicate the state of unbelief in which this film had to be endured.

First coffee of the day in hand, I walk the pup (she’s 10 months old! ) and come back inside to feed her and rush to get ready. My job is pretty relaxed so long as we put eight hours in, but I try to get there by 9 each morning. I run the straightener through my hair, put on makeup, select a pair of dark jeans and a too-big sweater and head out the door with my microwaved breakfast sandwich slathered with Sriracha and homemade cold brew (coffee #2). I’m out the door by 8:20. 8:45: AAAND TRAFFIC. Welcome to the DMV: where you work 10 miles away and your commute is 45 minutes – if you’re lucky. I check work emails at stoplights and jam to a grunge playlist on Spotify. I’m feeling Monday morning moody. 9:15: Finally arrive and greet my team, sit down and get caught up on emails. We’re going to print today—I hope. My job as coordinator involves a lot of administrative work, customer service, a teeny bit of sales and even providing creative input. I go over my to-do list and get to work. This morning: creating social media content, building out a spreadsheet for the sales team, and daydreaming about an endless snack drawer. 12:00: This morning’s lackluster breakfast just didn’t cut it. I heat up a Healthy Choice café steamer and discover that my past-self left Sriaracha yogurt dressing in the fridge. Bless her. I scarf down lunch and then head over to Aldi to stock up on my now depleted snack drawer supplies. I grab veggie straws, Cajun trail mix, peanut butter pretzels, and chocolate chip cookie thins. I also grab a Sante Fe Salad Bowl, a Diet Coke and two sweet teas for my coworker. I pay cash. $20. 61 4:00: Passively looking at condos and apartments (we’re spoiled with rent but the commute sucks and our roommate has, well… good days and bad days). Next thing I know, our creative director is minutes away from approving for print and one of our full page ads is missing! I let him know and touch base with my boss. All is resolved within ten minutes but my anxiety is spiked so I stress eat some cookies. I’m still new at this job and have a lot of fear that one day I will inevitably make a mistake so unforgivable they’ll fire me on the spot. This is the first time I’ve worked in this industry and the imposter syndrome is real. 6:30: Finally arrive home and immediately throw on some yoga pants and my favorite raggedy band shirt and head to the gym. I’m feeling a bit squirrely. At the gym, I walk on the treadmill at a steep incline and listen to My Favorite Murder for two miles. Feeling better, I rush home and see S. is pretending to be asleep. Now is a good time to mention that both S. and I are in recovery and actually met through a 12-step program. We have both been sober for a while. S jumps in the shower because he’s leading a meeting tonight and I run the pup out while she does zoomies in the light rain. 9:30: I take a marathon shower and head to the meeting to meet S. We don’t often go to meetings together, but this one is close by and I haven’t shared in a while. At the meeting, I sit with my good friend and leave feeling better. Head home and S. and I have a quickie while his frozen meal heats up in the microwave. If this isn’t domestic bliss, I don’t know what is. 11:00: Scroll through Reddit until my eyelids get heavy. Good night, world. DAILY TOTAL: $20. 61 DAY TWO: 6:30: Up early because I’m dropping my car off to be repaired. I make some coffee and put on gray tights, a navy blue dress from Amazon (with pockets! ) and brown boots I scored from Plato’s Closet last weekend. I throw on a scarf for good measure. Kiss a sleepy S. goodbye and head to the dealership up the road. 8:00: The repairs will take a day or two so I’m given a rental. It’s so new! It’s so shiny! Pay a $50 deposit and head to work. On the way, my best friend B calls. We chat about my anxiety (thank goodness for therapy tonight! ) and she offers to send positive affirmations because she’s literally the best. Get to the office and immediately get to work checking email and organizing my to-do list. I drink office coffee and eat peanut butter pretzels. 12:30: The morning flies by thanks to a “short and sweet” sales meeting that runs nearly an hour followed by a couple client requests when I return to my desk. I sip on cold coffee because I’m a monster. My mom messages me to remind me to get my flu shot. 1:30: Run out for lunch (also an excuse to cruise in the new! -shiny! -rental). First stop is EarthFare, where I am tempted by an adorable succulent and soap. I leave with two coconut waters for my coworker (she gave me cash) and a Stumptown Nitro cold brew for later ($6. 22) Some folks are sensitive to caffeine after a certain point, but I am proud to say that one of my few talents is the ability to down espresso and take a nap right after. Next stop is CAVA. I order a greens and grain bowl with chicken and top it off with green harissa, feta, cucumber, tomatoes, pickled onions, and Fresno peppers. I also grab a lemon seltzer. ($13. 61) $19. 83 2:45: Focus, focus, focus. After perusing Money Diaries for a bit too long, I get back to work making edits and posting ads for our clients. 4:00: Dealership calls and says my car is ready. I have the rental until tomorrow morning and need to rush to therapy after work. Hmm. Leave early? I’m handed a few time sensitive tasks before I can sneak out. I finish the paperwork and make some last-minute edit for clients and let my boss know I’m heading out a few minutes early. The traffic gods are not kind, so I’m unable to make it to the dealership before my appointment. I listen to Ologies and head straight downtown for my 6:00 appointment. 7:00: Wow, clarity! I started meeting with this therapist about a month and a half ago and have been getting a lot out of our biweekly meetings. Unfortunately, she does not take insurance but offers a sliding scale (which is still a bit pricey). For the sake of transparency, my parent assist with the cost sometimes. When I was drinking and using, I put my family through a lot of pain. In sobriety I have made amends and our relationship has transformed into something so healthy and loving; I’m immensely grateful that they support my recovery in so many ways. I pay with my card. 8:00: S. wants to ride in the rental, so we head to an 8:30 meeting up the street. I’m the only woman for a while and I’m getting hungry. After the meeting, we head to Wawa for a couple sandwiches and some assorted munchies. I pay cash and S. will reimburse me on Thursday. 00 10:00: Home on the couch watching Billy on the Street. I devour half my turkey sandwich and feel a bit nauseous. S. and I joke about playing hookie tomorrow. I head to bed, foregoing my shower, and immediately pass the f*** out. DAILY TOTAL: $39. 83 DAY THREE 6:30: UGH. Another early morning. Pup happily pops her head out from under the covers and I run her outside. It’s a brisk morning in November and the sounds of birds chirping is kind of surreal. Bring pup in and give her breakfast, then I jump in the shower. I use the Fresh strawberry exfoliating l scrub to help wake up and follow with Josie Maran Argan oil. I wear my wavy hair natural today and throw on a pair of khaki jeggings, a dark blue blouse that B. gave me and some tan booties that have seen better days. I wear my usual make up of Makeup Revolution primer, Maybelline foundation, Anastasia Brow Wiz, and tarte’s Lights Camera Lashes mascara. I head out the door. 7:15: I remember I need to fill up the rental before returning it. I swing by Starbucks and order a venti Cold Brew with soy and a spinach feta wrap ($8. 58) and drive over to the gas station next door and put $5 in the tank since it was nearly full already. $13. 58 8:30: Drop the rental off and pick up my car. It’s still under warranty so there’s no charge, but I’m not totally convinced the problem is resolved. The traffic gods are kind to me this morning and I get to work early. Settle in with my coffee and compile a few reports and go over my tasks for the day. We have a Thanksgiving potluck tomorrow afternoon so I make a note to go to the store after work to get ingredients for cookies. 12:50: I look up from my work and decide I need a break from Excel. My coworker is heading out for lunch, so I give her $10 to grab a salad from Chipotle (is my poor impulse control when it comes to food glaringly obvious yet? Whoops. ) I decide to go outside and stretch my legs. I come back to see a chicken salad waiting for me and eat it while texting a few friends. $8. 75 5:00: I head out and proceed to sit in traffic for an hour. When I get home, our friend is visiting. Why do I suddenly feel super overwhelmed? Like, tears-in-my-eyes overwhelmed? I excuse myself to the bedroom and lay with the pup. I realize this is the first time I’ve been alone in a couple days and I wasn’t expecting someone to be here. comes in to talk to me and is understanding and kind. He leaves with our friend and I try to use some of the tools I’ve learned in therapy. I give myself permission to feel anxious. 7:00: Feeling better and now MY car needs gas. I take pup on a quick trip to the gas station and grab some iced tea and fill up my tank. I get home and lay on the couch and watch This Is Us. Pup is dutifully curled up in my lap and I feel safe and calm. and our friend get home; cookie mix in hand! Ugh, my heart. The three of us go upstairs and attempt to bake. 00 10:30: Feeling grateful that my moment of anxiety after work didn’t derail the entire night. I give S. a kiss goodnight and thank him. He is my rock. DAILY TOTAL: $42. 33 DAY FOUR: 7:00: Wake up feeling refreshed. I jump in the shower after taking the pup out and rinse off. When I get out, I see the dog has knocked all the pillows off the couch and is looking very pleased with herself. I throw on dark jeans, a muted pink sleeveless blouse, and a baggy striped cardigan with my favorite Madewell flats. Use an obscene amount of dry shampoo and spend a little extra time on my makeup today since we have our holiday potluck. I walk out the door around 7:45am. 8:00: Swing by Harris Teeter to grab extra cookies. Make my way to the bakery and pick up Reese’s Pieces cookies, a Suja organic cold pressed juice, and sugar-free Redbull. I take the back roads and make it to my office in about 40 minutes, hurray! $13. 55 1:30: The phone has been ringing nonstop with endless client requests and I’m trying to get ahead of work before next week. We all break to go downstairs and I’m blown away by the feast! Our office is very diverse; we have all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings as well as jerk chicken, macaroni and cheese, spicy couscous, deviled eggs, pumpkin whoopie pies, and so much more. I chat and catch up with my colleagues who work downstairs. After about an hour or so, I head back upstairs and get back to work. 4:45: I find a good stopping point and head out. While sitting in traffic, I download Where the Crawdads Sing (finally! ) and feel at ease listening to the dreamy descriptions of the marsh. I get home, say hi to S. and pup, and decompress for a bit before heading out to the gym. As I’m about to leave, pup gives me that sad, dramatic look so I take her on a walk around the neighborhood. The air smells like winter and I do my best to be mindful. We race each other on the way back. 6:30: At the gym, I go on the treadmill for 25 minutes and listen to my audio book. After, I switch gears and put on the Metal Charge Spotify playlist and do some weights. It feels so good to stretch. I head out after an hour or so and stop at, where else, but Wawa. In my defense, the only other option is Walmart and your girl is not trying to have a self-induced panic attack. I grab milk, Advil, and two iced teas. $9. 50 9:00: Back home in our basement lair and I’m feeling queasy again. I toast half a bagel and slather on some peanut butter. watches football and I scroll through Reddit while mustering up the strength to shower. My period is expected to start next week and I’ve been breaking out, so I spend extra time exfoliating in the shower. After, I use The Ordinary’s Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion serum and some extra moisturizer. I put on my favorite comfy pajama pants and fall asleep around 11. DAILY TOTAL: $23. 05 DAY FIVE 7:30: Alarm goes off and S. pulls me in tighter to cuddle. The rain and snoring dog curled up at our feet makes it seemingly impossible to get up. Luckily, its Friday – payday! I roll out of bed and begin my routine. Today’s outfit is midwash jeans and a green cardigan with the same Madewell flats as yesterday. I place a mobile order at Stabucks for cold brew and egg bites and reload my card with $15. 00. 8:45: Get to the office and settle in. My boss is working from home and I have a lot to work on, so hopefully this day will go by quickly. 10:15: I take a break and open my budget spreadsheet. I downloaded a free template from Mint and have tweaked it to include my monthly bills. I update it every two weeks when I get paid. Rather than waiting for my bills to be taking automatically, I pay what’s due every other Friday. I find that paying bills all at once helps keep me on track. I pay my car insurance, car payment, and transfer about $450 into savings (included in monthly expenses). 1:30: I have a coupon for Panera, so I order a Southwest avocado salad with an iced coffee and drive to pick it up. $12. 4:45: Friday’s are usually pretty crazy as we’re trying to get everything ready for deadline. With all of the managers gone, I find a good stopping point and make my to-do list for Monday, then leave for the day. 6:00: FRIDAY NIGHT. I put on comfy pants, light a candle, and start to straighten up. When I get paid, my urge to buy tons of useless shit is overwhelming. I decide to sort through my underwear drawer and get it organized, then move on to shoes. I lay on the couch and scroll through Reddit. I need a white shirt to wear to work, but know if I venture to Target I’ll blow my budget. I order one from American Eagle on sale. 69 8:00: Talk to my friend and resign myself to a very lazy night in. is at a meeting. I order some essentials from Amazon: cold brew grounds, Neutrogena make up remover, nail strengthener, and ibuprofen ($37. 19). After, my stomach is rumbling and I have a coupon for the local pizza joint. I order a large pie that arrives as soon as S. returns. ($7. 99) $45. 18 11:00: Years ago I would just be leaving the house at this time, driving somewhere and not knowing what madness was in store for me. I curl up on the warm couch with my two favorite creatures and feel myself drifting off to sleep. DAILY TOTAL: $84. 87 DAY SIX 7:30: Pup doesn’t recognize the importance of sleeping in. I run her out, give her breakfast, and crawl back into bed. 9:45: I’m up, showered, and throw on some yoga pants and a comfy t-shirt because I’m getting a tattoo today! It’s my fifth one, but the first one I’ve gotten sober. On my way up to the studio where my friend works, I grab a cold brew from Starbucks using the app. 12:00: My friend is running late, but I’m so immersed in my audio book that I can’t complain. I meander around CVS nearby and grab a hair mask and Essie’s Cause & Reflect nail polish. **$13. 81. ** 1:00: I arrive at the shop and it’s good to catch up! We draw up the design and away we go! A few hours later, I emerge with a beautiful, small design. I Venmo him $140 which includes the tip. This is the first time I haven’t regretted putting something permanent on my body. I absolutely love it. $140 4:30: I come home and S. is making grilled cheese and tomato soup. It’s raining outside and the world feels so small and perfect and cozy. He’s going out tonight with his friends so we catch up for a bit. After, I relax for a while and then get ready to over to B’s house to meet some of my friends and head to a meeting. I listen to my book some more and do a bit of laundry. 7:30: Head over to B’s – mayhem! So many children running around. I chase around B’s toddler and then make my way to the meeting. It’s not my favorite and I struggle to pay attention and find myself struggling to relate to others. B. and I were planning to go to dinner after, but decide to just swing by Taco Bell and return to my place. **9:30:** With a chicken quesadilla and some other spicy necessities in tow ($13. 25), we head home and settle in on the couch with the dog. We talk for a while about everything and nothing. comes home and joins us. The three of us get invested watching Girls Incarcerated on Netflix. heads home around 11 and S. and I stay up until almost 2 in the morning, completely transfixed by the first season. I pull myself away and head to bed and B. follows shortly after. 25 DAILY TOTAL: 167. 06 DAY SEVEN: 10:00: I wake up to a kiss goodbye from S; he’s heading to the Redskins game. I drift back to sleep. 11:45: Finally get up and make some coffee while munching on a granola bar. I take out the trash, make the bed, and finish folding some laundry. I wanted to take pup to the dog park today, but with all the rain yesterday it’s way too muddy. I leash her up and take her on a two mile walk around the neighborhood while listening to my book. She chases leaves and pine cones. 2:30: After our walk, I lay on the couch for a bit contemplating existence before heading to the gym. The good thing about the gym is it's super close; once I resolve to go, next thing I know I'm there. I jog for a mile and do about ten miles on the bike. I would normally do my upperbody workout but don’t want to mess the tattoo up somehow. 5:00: Come home and rinse off. We’re heading to my parents house to help with some chores once S. is home from the game. My brother and sister live in different states, so it’s on me if they need help (which isn’t often and it’s nice to visit since they live 15 minutes away). We pack up pup because they have a beagle who LOVES our dog. We head over and help out around the house while pup and the beagle chase each other and wreck havoc while the cat looks on in disgust. My mom orders sandwiches from the neighborhood pizza spot and S. and I go to pick it up. 9:00: We head home after a few hours of hanging out and watching football. We lounge around and snack on crackers and hummus while watching Netflix. Pup is knocked out from her playdate. I head to bed, catch up on Reddit for a while, then fall asleep. It's been a good, low key weekend. DAILY TOTAL: $0 TOTAL: $377. 75 Food + Drink: $149. 56 Fun / Entertainment: $140. 00 (getting tattooed is entertainment, yeah? ) Home + Health: $37. 19 Clothes + Beauty: $26. 50 Transport: $25. 00 Ah, man. The tattoo certainly threw off my spending a bit. Overall this was a pretty typical week. I also just want to confirm that the rental deposit was returned the next day so I didn’t include it. Overall, every day I try to be more mindful of spending. Try is the key word. It took me a long time to address my fears related to debt. Looking at my week, there are absolutely some areas that can improved. Judge kindly, okay?

All bases have been built from scratch for the new map (they showed a new warehouse that may seem similar, but is different) They made improvements to foliage, roads and lighting Each map had its lighting reworked, this is the biggest update. You will be able to tell the difference of which map you are on by the lighting. They’ve added haze and mist now which they couldn’t do before because of performance. Roads have been updated. They now have cracks, they can shine in the sun, added oil stains, made the edges of roads more realistic. These will be on all 4 open world maps and Trumbull. Certain interiors have been cleaned up on all maps. As an example, the bars no longer have a lot of the tables and chairs to make it easier to fight inside. The new map has the biggest and most complicated base in the game. Those could be two different bases, not the same one. There are secrets in this map. Some related to Heavy Weapons. Heavy Weapons New Dev Diary about Heavy Weapons up on YouTube Use a lot of stamina, so button mashing won’t work well, even with Powerhouse skill Heavy Weapon fighting style is about timing, especially when fighting groups In Multiplayer, good to have 1 Heavy Weapon to knock a group down, others come in with regular weapons to clear them Powerhouse skill gives you a “wind up” attack Finisher with Heavy Weapon is different depending on how many zombies are around. Solo kill is a quick vertical squash. Multiple zombies is a finisher that will knockdown other zombies while finishing your target. Using the energy drink with Heavy Weapons can be very helpful. When using Heavy Weapons, you can no longer kick. Instead you will shove the zombie with the heavy weapon. Heavy Weapons have been added to the loot table. So get looting to find them! Heavy Weapons will eventually break like other melee weapons. They said there are secrets to be discovered here. Questions Q: Will there be a new skill or existing skill that ties into Heavy Weapons? A: Yes, it will be the existing Powerhouse skill under the Cardio tree. (Originally intended this when making the game but just got around to adding Heavy Weapons) Q: If I own the game and all of the DLC will I need to buy Juggernaut Edition? A: No, if you can play the game currently you will get the update for free. Owners of existing DLC will get prestige and outfit rewards. Q: Will your existing community and saved games carry over to the update? A: Yes, all communities and game saves carry over. There will just be a new map that you can move to. Q: Will there be a disc version of Juggernaut Edition? A: No, this is a digital update. Q: Will the prestige cap be raised to account for all of the prestige bonuses? A: Yes, they are adding an additional digit for all players. New cap is now 99, 999. Q: When does Juggernaut Edition release? A: March 13th Q: Will Undead Labs be at Pax East? A: Yes, but only a minimal group and they’ll be at the Mixer group. Q: How does the Independence Pack work with Juggernaut Edition? A: If you don’t own the Independence Pack already, it is included but you have to kill all of the plague hearts first to unlock it. If you already own it, it is there from Day 1. Q: Will the old maps ever be overhauled? A: They have talked about this, but for now they put all of their energy into the new map. A lot of the overall graphic and performance updates effect all maps. There’s still a lot on the table for future discussion here but they are not announcing anything. Q: Will interiors have better lighting? A: Yes, but there is still not electricity in the game world so they will still be dark. Q: Can I transfer my save from Xbox to Steam? A: Account level unlocks like clothing will carry over, but game saves will not. Q: Will Heavy Weapons be in Daybreak? A: No, Daybreak is still the same as before. Q: Will Red Talon characters have skills for Heavy Weapons? A: Yes, if you have a Red Talon character they will use it as well as everyone else. Q: Will there be any new character faces added for Juggernaut Edition? A: No, the devs that work on faces were working other things this time like clothing, lighting and weapons. There could be new faces in future updates though. Q: Since we are losing two weapons packs in the Bounty Broker, are we getting two new ones? A: No, they are limiting how many are available at one time to reduce overwhelming. They will however be cycling weapon packs in and out. Reducing to 3 or 4 at a time to make it more manageable on their side as well. Q: Did Military zombies get a helmet change, we’ve been seeing full masks on them? A: No, there are just some that are more rare than others. Q: Are there any new facility mods? A: No, but there are a lot of new built in mods on the new map. Q: Will my game purchase from the MS store transfer over to Steam? A: No, you would need to purchase it again. Q: Will Steam be cross platform? A: Yes, you can play with all SOD2 players? Q: Will there be any new car models added to the game? A: They will ask their Car Guru to join a future stream to answer this. Q: What is the size of the update download? A: They don’t have a size yet, but it will be bigger than recent updates. They have put effort into controlling the size though. Q: Are you adding rain, snow or other weather to the game? A: No, they have added mist but more severe weather is not being added and likely will not. Q: What’s the difference between the new map and the old maps? A: They will dive more into the new map on next weeks stream. They can say this one has a lot of really good views, it has 5 bases, a lot of elevation. They’ve also said they like this one the best because a lot of them are from the Pacific Northwest. Q: Is the new map geared towards new players? A: Yes, this map has a dedicated area designed for new players that walks them through the game. Q: Will Juggernaut Edition be free on Xbox Game Pass? A: Yes Q: Will the new map play like Heartland or the other open world map? A: It will play like the other 3 open world maps. Q: Will Window’s 7 be supported for the game on Steam? A: It is below their required spec, but they have tested it and it works. They are not supporting Windows 7 with QA testing though. Q: Can you buy the DLCs before Juggernaut Edition to get the bonus rewards? A: Yes Q: How big is the new map? A: It is comparable to the existing maps. They have done any deep analysis, but it should feel similar. Q: Are there any new achievements? A: Yes, 7 of them worth 150 gamer score. They also are adding all achievements to Steam. One is for moving to the new map. There’s a few associated with Bounty Broker and a few tied to outfits. They added some really weird ones.

Download free inside the rain tv. It was a show on mtv like this. Download free inside the rain mp3. I've been keeping a text document of every game I've played (for the first time) so far in 2019 (and late December 2018) with a few comments about the games. It was originally just for myself in case I needed a reminder of my own thoughts to start writing more substantial pieces on any of these games, but I thought this could be interesting for other people to see! I play a lot of indie games and so this will likely be a very different list to what many people might have Year of release: 2019 (6 games), 2018 (6), 2017 (7), 2016 (1), 2015 (0), 2014 (3), 2013 (1), 2012 (1) - only includes games I played for the first time this year! Game Title - paragraph – would I recommend December (2018): Book of Demons - Book of Demons is a Diablo inspired hack & slash “roguelike”, but in the least hack & slash way you’ve ever seen. The twist or gimmick in Book of Demons is that rather than moving around to slice up enemies, every randomly generated floor of the dungeon has a fixed set of paths and you can only move back and forth along those paths. Rather than moving to enemies and attack, you have to be in range of enemies and then click and hold to start attacking them. At first that’s really simple, but as you move further into the dungeon and pick up ‘cards’ (abilities/potions/equipment) the tempo really ramps up. You’re aiming at an enemy to attack, then switching to another enemy and using one of the 8 abilities than you can equip as soon as its off cooldown, then chugging a potion to refill mana, then switching enemy focus again. Even though it never looked like it, it really did have the same intensity as the hack & slash games that inspired it. Also looks absolutely gorgeous with a ‘pop-up book’ theme as though the game is happening inside a storybook - HIGHLY Simmiland – Simmiland is a god game, a sub-genre of survival/base-building games where instead of controlling the people directly, you act as their god and provide them with conditions and resources to hopefully let the civilisation grow. But, instead of having a set of powers that you can use, you start each game with a deck of cards and draw a hand of ~3-8. As the game plays out in real time you can play any power from your hand of cards, for example growing a tree or causing rain. As you play your worshippers start wishing for things, and if you can grant those wishes with a card from your hand you increase their faith in you, giving you more freedom to play more cards more quickly. You will fail a bunch and your civilisation will die out, but as you get better you can push your dark age peoples all the way through to modern technologies. It’s a decent little game and by limiting your decision space with the hand of cards mechanic it turns a genre that can be quite thinky into a tight, quick experience – but it doesn’t offer a huge amount of depth or longevity, and artistically is pretty weak. MAYBE January: Pikuniku – what a weird one. Pikuniku is a 2D platformer with a focus on story and comedy. You play as a very basic looking red oval on legs and explore a world where a big businessman appears to be giving away money for nothing – but is everything as good as it seems??? No. Obviously not. I bought this game because of the trailer’s obvious references to the cult-classic video (if that’s a thing) Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared. Unfortunately the game never lived up to that promise and, while there were a handful of funny lines scattered throughout the game, it was ultimately wasn’t enough to carry it’s lacklustre platforming and limited gameplay - NO Parkasaurus – Parkasaurus is Zoo Tycoon with Dinosaurs, there is no better way to describe it than that. It’s a game which is still in early access, but dinosaurs are cool and I have wonderful nostalgic memories of Zoo Tycoon so I bought it anyway. (Also, this isn’t a Slay the Spire/Factorio style of early access – Parkasaurus is legit a limited game at the moment using the early access method to fund further development and guide the future direction). As a zoo builder it works fine, there’s a good variety of dinosaurs all with different needs from their enclosures, though the most interesting mechanic by far when constructing the park is dinosaur ‘privacy’ – if an enclosure is open wire fences on all sides the dinos will likely become stressed and might lash out and potentially break the fences holding them in. So you have to plan in spaces covered by opaque walls or find space for large amounts of tall grass, and balance your dinos’ happiness with your guests satisfaction of seeing these prehistoric creatures. The major flaw it had was a very gimmicky and cheap minigame that was required to acquire new dinosaur specimens, but thankfully that has already been patched into an optional method. There are a lot of interesting mechanics and details that are yet to be implemented in the game but are planned, and I look forward to seeing how it progresses – NOT YET Hidden Folks - if you’ve never played a ‘hidden object’ game just imagine Where’s Wally/Waldo as a video game. There’s not a lot to Hidden Folks, it really is just a game of clicking around in the environment until you find the things you’re supposed to find – but that does mean scanning across the fun cutesy hand drawn animations that make up the game’s ‘levels’. Not amazing, but I enjoyed the couple of hours I spent playing it over a few weeks – SORT OF Laser League – I didn’t play a lot of Laser league, and never played online, only local multiplayer. Laser League is a ‘sports’ game where the objective is survive in a deadly arena filled with spinning death gates and the members of the other team. You can ‘hack’ and take control of the ‘gates’ making them deadly to your opponent but fine for you to pass through and this forms a sort of territory control part of the experience – the more gates you control the easier the game is for you and the tougher it is for your opponent. It’s frantic and high paced and a lot of fun to play against friends, though it certainly felt like the class of player that could hack enemy gates and make them your own was overly strong for beginners and that playing online with opponents trying hard to win might not be as strong as the couch multiplayer experience – NOT REALLY February: 39 Days to Mars – Have you ever been a Victorian with l;ofty ambitions of visiting the red planet? No? Well fortunately you can get a taste of what that would be like through Phillip Buchanan’s wonderful solo-developed puzzle game 39 Days to Mars. The game uses hand drawn pen animations on a tea-stained background, with wonderfully whimsical dialogue and a British stif upper lip approach to problems and disasters. The puzzles are asymmetrical with a focus on either communicating with a friend to properly fix broken plumbing, acquire space rocks, or make cups of tea – or, in single player, a dexterity puzzle trying to control to cursors with two analogue sticks. A lot of fun - YES Sunset Overdrive – As someone who’s only ever owned Sony consoles I missed Sunset Overdrive when it released back in 2014 it only popped up on my radar when it was rereleased on Steam this/last year. Now, I’m a huge fan of early 2000s mascot platformers, in particular Ratchet and Sly, and to me Sunset Overdrive felt like Insomniac trying to recreate a Ratchet-esque 3D platformer experience in the post-GTA III, open world-loving video game scene. And it works, Insomniac specifically mentioned Prince of Persia and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater as their inspirations – but that is almost certainly because calling it Ratchet inspired would seem too self congratulatory and draw too much attention to how many of Sunset Overdrive’s wacky original weapons are straight up reskins of guns from the Ratchet series. The gameplay is immensely enjoyable, fling yourself around and speed across the rooftops of a city designed to be a parkour playground while dodging zombies and mowing them down with an array of over the top weapons. It’s an exciting sounding idea and it works perfectly, but is unfortunately let down in other departments – notably the writing. Sunset Overdrive has the most banal quest writing I’ve seen in a video game. You meet a group of people, they make you go and find some things, then they help you in a way that doesn’t make use of the things you brought – I really don’t want to go and find you some name-brand bottled water Steve just fix the damn helicopter! It’s a shame that a Sunset Overdrive sequel feels very unlikely now because at its core this is a fantastic game and with some better writing it really could be incredible - YES Gang Beasts – local multiplayer jelly monster wrestling. Yes please. The game looks really stupid and feels really stupid – but sometimes that works really well for gaming with friends (also see: Starwhals, Overcooked, DiveKick etc. ). Use the triggers to grab with each hand, and try to lift up opponents and throw them to their death – although because they can just grip onto you as you try to drop them off an edge this almost never works and matches almost always end up as draws… As far as I can tell I played this game too late and it had been patched into something that didn’t capture the fun of the original release and I’m guessing this ‘impossible to actually win’ thing was one of the major screw-ups. Luckily winning never feels as important as just messing with your friends and so the game still ends up being a laugh – SORT OF Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 – My girlfriend loved the first Lego Harry Potter game and so it was a no-brainer to find a used copy of this one and give it a try. I was not the biggest fan of the first game, it’s not awful, but as someone who’s played more games than my girlfriend it was at times tediously simple and had a lot of moments that felt like the worst of point & click adventures where there is nothing obvious to do and so you just have to randomly interact with everything until something happens. But there’s been time to make the game play better and so Years 1-7 should be a better game, but it wasn’t. A few slight changes to how characters were differentiated, and some changes to how certain things worked took away from the intangible charm the first game had even during it’s more simple moments. Vehicles in particular which were wonderfully satisfying to pilot in the first game felt clunky in the second. The randomness which is a big part of many Lego titles was far worse here, with a key mechanic being Hermione’s Mary Poppins style handbag a lot of levels were solved by Hermione plucking out such a ridiculous variety of items that you wondered why she didn’t just do that more frequently and bypass every other challenge in the game. As with many sequels, if you liked the first you’ll still enjoy the second, but both my girlfriend and I were disappointed with how it had changed - NO March: Touhou Luna Nights - anime styled bullet hell metroidvania, I remember passing on this game the first time I saw it because of the ‘anime’ and ‘female protagonist’ tags on Steam which, while fine on their own, seem to combine to create an entire awful genre of lewd hentai-esque puzzle ‘games’ that Steam has opened the floodgates to. But, after it got some good early reviews I did decide to play it and it was a lot of fun. It’s a metroidvania with a focus on time control, early in the game you acquire a power to slow down time that takes about a second to cast, and soon after an ability to instantly pause time. For most of the game this makes you feel like a Neo-esque superhero slaying enemies and dodging projectiles, and there are also fun platforming sections where certain platforms/obstacles react different to time stop. Some things keep moving when you stop time, some things only move when you stop time etc. and this gives the platforming a bit of extra challenge. Where the game really shines though are the bullet hell bosses where you really have to nailing your uses of time slow and stop, as well as making precise dodges and using every free moment you have to deal damage. I died so many times playing Luna Nights and ~90% of my deaths came in the 5 or 6 boss battles, but it wasn’t frustrating (okay, maybe a little) and when I did finally defeat a boss my level of satisfaction was just off the charts - YES BURD - one of my games of the year. Something I decided to download from because it was free, I had some spare time, and it looked simple to get into – and I was stunned by how much quality was packed into this tiny little indie game. BURD is a 2D platformer with tight controls where you move right across the screen to find worms, and then left across the screen to bring the back to the god, a large burd who grants you power in exchange for sustenance (the worms). It’s a solid platformer with music that is magnificently ominous and perfectly matches the dark CRT aesthetic of the visuals, but what I really was not expecting was one of the best implementations of a good vs. evil, moral choices mechanic that I’ve ever played in a video game. It’s still free to play, go check it out - HIGHLY Figment - Figment is a puzzle platformer set inside the mind of a man after a traumatic event, you play as the guard of the mind who has largely given up, but has been remotivated by the Fear of Loss stealing away his scrapbook of precious memories. The puzzle-platforming is pretty good and slightly on the easier side, but what mainly sells the game is its focus on art, both visual art and music. The levels are all handpainted and look like something you’d find in a well illustrated children’s book. They’re got an air of wonderment about them and it really incentivises you too keep at it and explore all of the environments, the game also has a focus on music to the extent that the three boss battles in the game are all accompanied by the boss singing to you about the fight as you battle with them. There is light combat that’s so basic it probably could have been chucked out without affecting the game, and there are a few issues I had with the game’s tone not always reflecting the story it was telling – but other than that it was a really nice game to play and I’ll definitely be playing the sequel when it comes out next year - YES April: Prismata – Prismata is an interesting one, it plays a bit like a duelling card game (Magic, Hearthstone, Yu Gi Oh etc. ) but with one major twist – determinism. This style of head to head game always involves some sort of randomness, and primarily it comes from draw a hand of cards – if they combo well, great! If they don’t.. you’re wasting turns on subpar plays. In a game of Prismata you start with three drones and two engineers. Drones produce 1 money every turn, and engineers produce 1 electricity – money sticks around if you don’t use it, but electricity is more ephemeral and if you don’t use it in a turn it won’t carry over. A drone, as an example, costs 3 money and 1 electricity to buy and place down. But to start fighting the other player you’ll need to deal some damage, so you’ll want to buy a attacking card like a soldier or tarsier.. but these don’t just cost money, they cost resources. So to build one you’ll need to be generating resources, so you’ll need to spend money on resource-generator machines (I can’t remember the specific names of them), and then you can build an attacking unit! But.. your opponent just did the same and so now you’ll probably want to defend against their attack. You want to build a good engine at the start of a game with drones and resource generators, but you don’t want to build more than you’ll actually be able to use each turn because then that’s a waste of money, and if you’ve wasted money that you now can’t spend on attacking units, then your opponent has to spend less money each turn on shielding so they can spend more money on their engine and their attacking units and then they’ll destroy you.. It’s tense and thinky and a breathe of fresh air for a game that still feels like a duelling card game – even though its actual turn to turn gameplay is very different. Each game is completely different because while there are a set of cards/unit types that are present in every game, there are also 3-8 additional units randomly selected from a pool of over a hundred cards. So sometimes maybe there are 6 units that all use blue resources, and in the next match only 3 – maybe in one match there’s an super expensive shield that blocks 7 damage allowing vast economies to build, but in the next match the highest shield only blocks three. In a game of Prismata the early game is the most important and whichever player made the best decision of what cards to aim for should be able to snowball their advantage (if they don’t make a mistake under the time pressure of a turn), and unfortunately as quite a small game matches against human players can be a bit tricky to find. But, matches against the AI are still a lot of fun and there is a great range of difficulties, and if you can get friends to enjoy it too then there’s always a match available for you. Woops.. wrote like 500 words for this one. Sorry! - HIGHLY She Remembered Caterpillars – She Remembered Caterpillars is a puzzle game where you have little coloured creatures on gorgeous, rocky, subterranean looking levels and have move them to lilypads where they can get to sleep. But, the environment is picky and red caterpillars that form bridges only let red creatures across, and another red creature that forms a sort of ‘gate’ over paths will let anything through that isn’t red. But what gives the game it’s depth is that the creatures can combine (and uncombine) with one another and how the bridges and gates react. If a blue creature merges with a red then the combined purple guy can cross a bridge, BUT, a red gate won’t let through a purple creature because it contains red. It’s a really good puzzle trying to work out how and where to combine the cute and wonderfully animated little creatures and how to get them all onto the lilypads. Every few levels the game adds in a new mechanic which adds a minor change, and the game has excellent pacing on its difficulty with each section building up in complexity, before dropping down for easier puzzles when a mechanic is introduced. It was a game where I was sometimes staring at a screen for 10-15 minutes at a time, but never getting frustrated because I knew from previous levels that I could definitely figure it out if I tried, and this led to some very satisfying solves - YES The Floor is Jelly (again) – one of only two games on this list that I didn’t play for the first time in 2019, but it is the first time I’ve played this game for years. The Floor is Jelly is a 2D platformer where all the platforms – are made of jelly. What this means in terms of gameplay is that the floor acts like a trampoline that you can bounce on to gain height, and if you bounce yourself into walls they have enough flex for you to just about be able to climb yourself up. Mechanically it is a very simple 2D platformer with that one twist – but behind that you’re got beautiful levels with minimal single colour platforms on pretty gradient colour backgrounds that change across a range of different worlds, each of which has they’re own addition to the core gameplay, and each world has its own set of unique tracks scored by Disasterpeace who later went on to write the critically acclaimed scores to Hyperlight Drifter and It Follows - HIGHLY May: Beyond the Veil – an example of how less is sometimes more, but in a don’t do this kind of way. A top down twin stick shooter with minimalist graphics and a playable character that looks like an arrowhead from a celtic rune. If you show me this game I 100% would not expect to see that it contained survival and crafting mechanics.. but it did, and they were bad. At one point my hunger was at about half so I made a mental note to look for food. I didn’t find any before ultimately starving to death. I reload and searched again, but once more to no avail. This was after having already played a fairly substantial part of the game and defeating the first boss – and I just gave up and never went back. It’s a shame because while it was not an amazing twin stick shooter, it was graphically interesting and had a great deal of ominous, spiritual, post-apocalyptic world building that felt like it might have built to something. The survival mechanics have since been patched out but.. I still don’t think I’m going to go back - NO Hypnospace Outlaw – weird. Very weird. Hypnospace Outlaw is a point & click detective game set in a late 1990’s inspired social media world, but one that people access in their sleep. You play as a sort of moderator trying to keep graphic images and copyright infringments out of Hypnospace, but have to do some sleuthing in order to find them. The idea of people being on social media in their sleep feels very dystopian and the game runs with that slightly unsettling idea as its story unfolds in the background. I’m not big on point & click games but I did still play this to the end for its story (and for its wacky soundtrack and beautifully hideous social media pages). If you like point & clicks I definitely would recommend - YES June: Don’t Look Away from the Colors – A 15minute indie game that I was inspired to play by a gif from the developer on twitter. The idea behind the game is that if your cursor isn’t looking at the ‘colour’ (black and later a bit of red, but mostly just black) then you start to go woozy, losing full control of your cursor and eventually blacking out. This made it a fun game of perspective where you had to traverse the levels while always having some sort of black object to point the centre of your vision at. Interesting game, only 15 mins long – SORT OF There the Light – another very small indie game, definitely feels like it is heavily inspired by The Witness with the idea of finding ‘puzzles’ in an open world. I expressed some interest and was sent a key by the developer but ultimately did nothing with it as, while the game did look quite nice, it never felt like there was anything I could get out of this that I couldn’t get more of from just finished The Witness - NO Divinity Original Sin II – After playing and absolutely loving the first game as one of the all time greats of lengthy, deep, co-op campaigns I was obviously going to play the second. Unfortunately it’s a game I plan to play with my brother, and after getting about 5-10 hours in we’ve been apart and his computer can’t handle the game and so we haven’t played any further. One of the main reasons I am looking forward to Christmas is us getting a couple of days to push on with DoSII a little more haha. Loving the game so far - YES July: Exception - a puzzle ‘programming’ game where you have to enter a list of ‘IF this DO this’ style instructions to little robots in order to get them to safely reach checkpoints/destroy robots programmed by a big scary corporation. It is very much a puzzle game and quite light on theme, but the puzzles were all interesting and there was a good range to the solutions. It’s also very satisfying watching the robots carry out your pre-programmed commands and trying to work out why they were always wrong - YES Cube Escape: Paradox – another point & click game (a genre that my girlfriend loves) and I can’t say too much more than that. It’s all the standard stuff of finding keys and passcodes and clicking everything on the screen until something happens or you get bored.. that’s probably a little harsh but from a gameplay perspective I’ve never really been a fan of these - NO Robot Champions (DEMO) – Do we need more Robot Wars games? Yes. Desperately. Robot Champions unfortunately didn’t meet its kickstarter goals and so is trying to source other funding, but I have played the demo and I like the direction the devs are going in. The robots are limited enough by realism to feel like robot wars/battle bots and there weren’t any overly game-y systems like ultimate abilities/health bars that would have detracted from it. Definitely going to keep following this one – NOT YET August: Lego: The Hobbit – Another Lego game wooo. Yeah, this has all of the same problems as Lego Harry Potter in terms of the randomness and having to click everywhere to get anything to happen – but the theme is also more interesting to me as a Tolkien fan and this one has the additions of voice acting, and The Shire* acting as an open world levels hub. The Shire is also just quite a nice place to be so we had a lot of fun roaming around there ignoring the missions and completing the mini side quests - MAYBE September: Stardew Valley – Why didn’t I play this sooner. I bought this game “for my girlfriend” because I know that she loved Animal Crossing when she was younger and thought I’d see if I could find her a similar experience on a console that we actually own. So I bought Stardew Valley and she enjoyed it, but I did also want to create my own farm at some point and when she stopped playing so much, I jumped in and within a week had completed my first year. That may not sound like much – but the year took me 30 full hours to play. The farming sim is a lot of fun, the item hunting fishing and foraging is addictive, the mines are basically their own mini-game that while simple provides an excellent change of pace from the rest of the experience and that’s without mentioning the dating sim part that I haven’t really explored. Wonderful game, you gots to play it - HIGHLY October: Wildermyth – another game I was sent a key for but hadn’t really heard much about. It’s still early access at the moment but the game that is there right now is still enjoyable and playable. It’s a turn based strategy game where you control a gang of warriors, mages and archers (how unique), but outside of the fights the game seems to be more about telling stories. There’s an overall story that you’re actually playing with some sort of overarching threat, but as you play and make decisions other smaller stories crop up (with their own decisions within) and these have an effect on your party and the world around you. I’ve only really played enough to determine that I do have an interest in the game, and now I’m just waiting for further development before I properly dive in – NOT YET November: Transistor – another game I haven’t played all too much of. But from what I have played so far I love the combat, I’m a big fan of ‘real-time with pause’ as a system and Transistor uses a mechanic that is very similar to this where you can plan out some attacks while time is stopped and then watch your character carry them out at unhuman speeds. It really adds to the power trip the game gives when you have this option to just utterly wreck enemies in your way. The story is sounding interesting and I like how the game looks, definitely going to keep playing - PROBABLY December: GTA III – the second game on this list that I have played before, though this time not since about 2011. One of my all time favourite games and arguably one of the most important video games of the 21st century. I really want to know how well GTA III would hold up in the modern day, and I’ve got to say I think it’s still excellent. It may not have the outrageous map size and super realistic graphics of GTA V, but the core of the experience is still there and in many ways it’s less diluted. The driving is fun, the missions are okay, and the sense of freedom is still impeccable. Although the Steam version needs a mod to allow you to play with a controller and so I was really tempted to just emulate the game despite owning it on this platform anyway.. – I SUPPOSE? Papers, Please – Another game that I put off for far too long. A wonderful example of how you can make mechanics thematic and how you can make storytelling interesting through shifting the perspective. Papers, Please has you play as a border guard between east and west berlin wait, sorry, between Eat and West Grestin. While working here you’ve got to check passports and papers to make sure you only let in the ‘right’ people, but you’ve got to make sure to deal with enough people to earn enough money for you and your family to survive. As time passes the game builds on this and overall this is just a fantastic experience, and also made me want to rewatch The Lives of Others, little foreign language film recommendation for you there - HIGHLY It's been a good year for games, and there were many, many titles that I was desperate to play but didn't purchase because I knew I just wouldn't have the time. Especially not when I factor in the time I knew I would spend on Football Manager and Rocket League, as well as replaying old favourites that I do quite frequently (This year Ratchet & Clank 3, Ratchet (2016), and Borderlands 2 - twice.. I've even been replaying Robot Wars: Arenas of Destruction for the PS2. It's clunky, but I love it.

I need to see this now, I really mean it. I can't wait to watch this movie... 2:46 when u said automatic i was expecting a violent stream of constant rainbow chocolate to come exploding out of the thing as soon as he pressed the button. Download Free Inside the main story.

And Then Full Movie, And Then We Danced download hd …. Never before in cinema have I seen a relationship in which I would so genuinely believe. In every word, move, look, gesture of Merab (Levan Gelbakhiani) I can see and feel an ordinary young artist struggling with self-identification and experiencing first love.
The idea of portraying gay romance in such a conservative country as Georgia could give the director Levan Akin many reasons to be moralistic and pretentious. Yet the end result is by no means like this. In every scene, every word, it is subtle, naturalistic, thought-provoking without any unnecessary preachiness. Opinions and feelings are conveyed through music and dance, which enables the film to achieve all its purposes in a delicate yet decisive way.
Akin does not portray Georgian society as something evil. As everywhere, there are people who hate, people who do not understand and people who support. 'And Then We Danced' is a meaningful masterpiece made by those who support not only for those who need the support, but also for those who do not understand yet.

Movie Saint maud fontenoy. Movies saint matthews louisville. Movie Saint maudit. Saint maud movie spoiler. Morfydd Clark and Jennifer Ehle play nurse and patient in this claustrophobic psychological thriller from debutante director Rose Glass. Although this unsettling, contemporary-set British psychological drama is not a biopic about the real-life canonized St. Maud, a 10th century, excessively devout German queen, it's not hard to imagine why the lead character might have chosen to rechristen herself Maud after a trauma and subsequent conversion to Christianity. Like the disturbed palliative-care nurse we follow here, played with subtlety but also white-hot fervor by Morfydd Clark, the original St. Maud nursed the sick, and is now considered the patron saint of misbehaving children. That second bit seems apt here given that this striking and auspicious feature debut for writer-director Rose Glass explores the title character's obsessive need to control and maybe even convert her older, terminally ill patient, played by Jennifer Ehle. Redolent of a video-store shelf's worth of 1960s and '70s psychological horror thrillers — especially Repulsion, Performance, Taxi Driver and   maybe even  The Killing of Sister George in an oblique way, as well as recent pastiches of that same period ( The Duke of Burgundy) — Saint Maud seeds the clouds with an eclectic mix of influences, but it works, creating a film with its own strange weather. Stab-quick flashbacks of a gory scene in a hospital and dropped hints elsewhere suggest something bad happened to a patient in the backstory for which tightly clenched nurse Maud (Clark) may or may not be responsible. Now, instead of working in the national health service (where she was known as Kate before she changed her name), Maud is caring for terminally ill patients through a private agency in an unnamed seaside town. (The street scenes were shot in picturesque-seedy Scarborough, in the north of England. ) Her latest client is Amanda (Ehle), once a feted, avant-garde dancer in the Pina Bausch vein judging by a video clip we see at one point, who now has a terminal illness, probably cancer judging by the hair loss. But despite the fact that Maud wants to see the glamorous and witty Amanda as an injured broken bird to be cared for, Amanda is more like a spider nesting in her vast bed at the center of a dark house full of corners, menacingly patterned wallpaper the color of blood and secrets. Amanda is not evil or anything as simple and banal as that — just a very smart, complex woman bored with the last stages of her own mortality. In Maud, whom she describes at one point as the loneliest person she's ever met, she sees an amusing if broken plaything to fill up the time with in between visits from her young, sexily snarling lover, Carol (a vividly feral Lily Frazer). But Maud isn't as simple as she looks either, and the two begin a tango of seduction or destruction that leads to some very weird head games. Eventually, Maud's faith and perhaps her sanity starts to fray and crackle, and she swaps the starched uniform for sexier threads and a night of hedonism for herself. By the end, it's not entirely clear whether we have entered an ecstatic realm where the supernatural is possible or whether it's all in Maud's imagination, like the whirlpools she sees in glasses of beer and bathtub drains, redolent of Hitchcock's famous shower scene in Psycho. That ambiguity of genre, never entirely resolved, may frustrate some viewers, but it's clear Glass knows exactly what she's doing as she keeps adding thin layers of meaning and texture to the narrative. This smart, sinister work represents a very arresting calling card which augurs very well for her future prospects. See more awards  » Edit Storyline There, but for the grace of God, goes Maud, a reclusive young nurse whose impressionable demeanor causes her to pursue a pious path of Christian devotion after an obscure trauma. Now charged with the hospice care of Amanda, a retired dancer ravaged by cancer, Maud's fervent faith quickly inspires an obsessive conviction that she must save her ward's soul from eternal damnation - whatever the cost. Making her feature film debut, writer-director Rose Glass cannily lures the audience into this disturbed psyche, steadily setting up her veritable diary of a country nurse for an unnerving and ultimately shocking trajectory. Morfydd Clark (also at the Festival in The Personal History of David Copperfield) portrays the sanctimonious Maud with an intense stoicism that belies a disquieting vulnerability, as Maud desperately vies for absolution and solidarity from her embittered patient (an enthralling Jennifer Ehle, also at the Festival in Beneath the Blue Suburban Skies).
