abstract=Alice, a single mother, is a dedicated senior plant breeder at a corporation engaged in developing new species. 0:44 Isn't that Ron Weasley from harry potter. Visually appealing but irritating. I don't know if that's what the producers of this were hoping for, and if so they managed to get on my nerves a lot. Everything from the music, to the main characters inability to register what's happening in front of her face. It's basically a film about a plant gaslighting a woman for two hours. I don't know what the film makers were going for and that makes this a bland and slow film.

In addition, the acting is so wooden and stiff that I'm surprised that the actors were even allowed to used the elbows and knees when moving. There were some "clever" details like the psychologist who tries to control the scientist wearing red flowers in the clothing pattern. And don't get me started with the music. Absolutely distracting and stealing the attention from the movie in a bad way. And this is coming from someone who likes experimental music, some of which many people don't even consider as music.
